Help new customers find the shop you have built
You already have the craft and the regulars. From the website to search visibility and content, we work alongside you so your shop can show up properly when new customers search, check a map, or ask an AI.
Direct answer
In one paragraph
SMK Labs runs a monthly marketing service for small businesses: building and maintaining websites, keeping map listings such as Naver Place and Google Business Profile accurate, managing search and AI-answer visibility (SEO, AEO, GEO), and producing content such as blog posts. In South Korea we work remotely nationwide, including Busan, with visits by arrangement; businesses outside Korea are served remotely in English. We do not manage ad spend, and we do not guarantee search rankings, AI-answer citations, visits, or revenue.
SMK Labs is not based or stationed in Busan. Costs are split into a setup fee and a monthly plan, quoted after a consultation.
Who it's for
Your craft, visible to new customers too
The longer a shop has served one neighborhood, and the closer the owner's skill is to a master's, the more likely it has loyal regulars yet is hard for new customers to find. If any of these sound familiar, let's talk.
01
We rely on word of mouth
Recommendations from regulars matter. But first-time customers may search for the shop's name or “… near me” before deciding, and missing or outdated information makes them hesitate.
02
Maybe it's just the economy
You cannot change the economy, but you can check and fix how your shop appears in search, on maps, and in AI answers.
03
No time for the website or blog
Updating a website, keeping map listings current, and writing posts while running a shop is hard. We take that work on and keep it going.
No cheat codes
There are no cheat codes, but there is a path customers can follow
No trick brings a crowd in with a single search. Instead, we check and fix each step customers take — searching for your shop, checking it on a map, then contacting or visiting — and share a record of what we changed.
What we do
What SMK Labs takes on
We combine the following to fit your shop. The actual scope is set together during consultation and diagnosis.
01
Website build and care
A website with your story, menu or products, hours, location, and how to get in touch, plus domain, hosting, and updates. If you already have a site, we start by reviewing it.
02
Map and search listing upkeep
We keep map listings such as Naver Place and Google Business Profile consistent with your website: name, address, phone, and hours.
03
SEO, AEO, and GEO management
We manage page structure, structured data, and FAQs so search engines (SEO), question-style search and AI overviews (AEO), and generative AI such as ChatGPT (GEO) can read and cite your shop's information accurately.
04
Content production
We regularly turn your shop's story, menu, and process into blog posts and similar content, based on facts you have confirmed. Drafts are prepared with AI tools, and posts that introduce new facts or prices get a separate review.
05
Shared work log
We summarize what we changed and how your shop appears in search and on maps.

We do not manage ad spend (search or social ad budgets), write fake reviews, or manipulate rankings. We do not guarantee search rankings, map rankings, AI-answer citations, visits, or revenue.
Common questions about small-business marketing
Q01What does SMK Labs do for small businesses?
As a monthly service, we take on website build and care, upkeep of map listings such as Naver Place and Google Business Profile, search and AI-answer visibility management (SEO, AEO, GEO), and content such as blog posts. We do not manage ad spend.
Q02Can we start without a website?
Yes. We can start by building one. If you already have a website or blog, we review it first and decide what to fix.

Yes. With manager access shared from your account, we keep your name, address, phone, hours, and description consistent with your website. Steps that require owner verification are done together with you.
Q04Do you guarantee more customers?
No. Search rankings, map visibility, AI-answer citations, visits, and revenue are not guaranteed. Instead, we summarize what we changed and how your shop appears in search and on maps.

There is a setup fee and a monthly care subscription. The subscription level depends on the scope, and you can cancel month to month. Amounts are quoted after a consultation.
